Anti-wrinkle injections are used to soften and relax muscles in various parts of the face, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The most popular areas of the face that are treated include the frownline, forehead lines and around the eyes. Here at NB Aesthetics we are trained to an advanced level and can also offer treatments such as brow lift, bunny lines, platysmal (neck) bands, gummy smile and mandible softening.

How does it work?

When injected in to the muscle, Botulinum toxin A works by binding to the nerve terminals which are responsible for telling the muscle to move, in turn this blocks the signal that is being sent from the brain to the muscle. This means that the muscle can no longer contact, minimising the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

This treatment lasts up to 12 weeks and can only be performed following a consultation. after care information and advice will be provided at this appointment. A follow up appointment will also be arranged 2 weeks post treatment where an optional ‘top up’ will be included if required.
